Project to equip and furnish the center's hall
Status: Executed
All praise is due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger, his family, his companions, and his family. (Hall Preparation and Furnishing Project) Project Overview: All praise is due to Allah, who facilitated the establishment of the Cultural Center for Da'wah (invitation to Islam) for expatriate communities, licensed by the Yemeni Ministry of Endowments and Guidance under number (2007). This center aims to fulfill a noble mission: inviting non-Muslims to Islam, educating new Muslims and non-Arabic-speaking communities, correcting misconceptions about Islam and Muslims, and highlighting the virtues of Islam for many foreigners arriving in Yemen. This is achieved through constructive dialogue, purposeful lectures, informative booklets, and pamphlets promoting goodness. In this way, Islam is presented in an engaging and appealing manner. This blessed call, delivered with wisdom and good counsel, has borne fruit, as 358 men and women of various nationalities have embraced Islam and followed the truth and the straight path leading to the Paradise of the Lord of the Worlds. [The following appears to be a separate, unrelated statement:] ... God has opened a blessed avenue for conveying the message of Islam to non-Muslims in an easy and accessible way. This avenue, or method, is as follows: The center collaborates with interested Muslims to invite non-Muslims by distributing special invitations to attend the center's weekly events. Upon their arrival, they are welcomed and treated with hospitality, followed by a suitable and engaging presentation introducing them to Islam, particularly the Oneness of God (Tawhid). In this way, the message of Islam is conveyed to them, God willing. Project Objectives and Justifications: • The urgent need for a hall at the center. • Introducing Islam to a large segment of non-Muslims (foreign workers, tourists, etc.) through group lectures and events. • Ensuring a positive first impression on those invited. • Providing a suitable hall for all lectures and events, which greatly contributes to the success of outreach projects. • The ease with which those invited often cooperate, encouraging the center to communicate with them directly through invitation distribution. • Foreigners flocked to the center in large groups, whether they were tourists or resident workers. • The number of trainees in the field of Da'wah (Islamic propagation) was so large that the classroom could not accommodate them all. Project Timeframe: • During the year 2010. Project Beneficiaries: • Thousands of non-Muslims and Muslims invited to Islam. Project Implementing and Supporting Entities: 1- Charitable Organizations. 2- The Center.
